You probably have some questions about how we can fix your device, here are what we are often asked.

  • How much will it cost?
  • What caused my device to stop working?
  • Will it be cheaper to buy a new system?

Before the commencement of any work we will give your device a detailed analysis and overview of the issue. Once we have determined the cause of the problem we will call you up with a quote before proceeding the repair.

There are many causes for computer & notebook problems which fall into two basic categories

a. Hardware and b. Software.

Typically software will be:

  1. Spyware/Malware/Trojan Infections
  2. Downloading demo programmes
  3. Downloading legitimate software from non official sites 4. Corrupted updates.
  4. Opening spam emails

Typically hardware will be:

  1. Broken screens from careless behaviour
  2. Broken DC jacks
  3. Faulty Memory
  4. Failure of Hard Drives
  5. Liquid spillage

Typically not, but this will depend on a case by case basis.

  • How long will the repair take?
  • Is there any warranty on repairs?
  • Will the issue with my device happen again?

Unless we have to order in specific parts for your repair, repairs can be finished the same day if brought in early.

Yes, all hardware have a minimum 12 months manufacturers warranty, software repairs however don’t carry a warranty as they are highly dependent on user activity.

This is highly dependant on user activity and behaviour. We will get your device working back the way its meant to be, however any fixes we do can easily be reversed by the user depending on browser habits and software installs beyond our control.
